Best fishing experience one could have starts at Leen's. They have many community ties and bring together many elements to exceed expectations. Food and lodging are quite impressive at this remote lodge. And they feature a replica fish I caught on their dining room wall :)

Our experience at Leens Lodge was incredibly great. The Weeks, owners, were very friendly and accommodating as was the rest of the staff. The rustic cabins made you feel like you were in seclusion and were very clean. Wendy did a fantastic job daily of keeping them in order. We fished with Dale Tibet who was a great guide and prepared wonderful shore lunches. He builds beautiful canoes during the off season and kept us entertained for the day along with in the fish. The food at the lodge was exquisite and girdle bursting!!! We are excited about our return.

I took my son and 2 grandsons to Leen's this past July and it was a wonderful experience. While I've been going to Grand Lake Stream for over 50 years and my son many times as well it was the 1st for the boys and the 1st staying at Leen's. The cabin was well furnished, clean and right on the water. You could hear the water lapping the shoreline at night. The food was beyond great with lobster, prime rib and many other great choices. The owners were very attenuative to our needs and really made the trip special for the boys. The location can't be beat as it's right on the most beautiful lake in Maine and the sunsets are incredible. Don't know why I haven't stayed here before but I do know where I'll be staying for now on!

I have stayed at Leen's Lodge many times over the past 10+ years. the "new" owners, Scott and Kris Weeks (they bought in 2017 I think), have poured a lot of money, sweat, and no doubt tears into upgrading, remodeling, and improving the facilities. Scott is a great cook - being far from any easy shopping he serves great meals with a lot of care, though you won't get California fare here. It is a hunting and fishing lodge with rustic cabins, not a fancy urban hotel. The staff, all of them, are attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable. The cabins are clean, comfortable, with gorgeous views of the lake and forest. The Weeks family has a great relationship with local guides, and will help set you up with one whether your desire is to fish, hunt, kayak, bird watch, etc. It is an expensive experience but understand that like nice places on isolated islands in the Carribean, it costs a lot to get provisions to such a remote area and to maintain a property such as this with Mother Nature doing her best to tear it all down in the harsh winters.

Went for dinner while visiting family in the grand lake stream area….A hidden gemstone!! Beautiful and delicious dinner. Wonderful, accommodating owners/host. We went for Salmon night which was excellent. Each night has a different featured entree. We arrived about an hour early at their recommendation for some wine and cocktails on the deck prior to dinner. One important thing to remember is the place is BYOB. Food is wonderfully prepared with fresh ingredients and amazing flavor. The ambiance is just perfect, we will be back. Would highly recommend!

Stayed at Leen's for the 1st time and brought my son and two Grandsons. To say this place is special is an understatement. I live in NJ and the food was fine restaurant quality and if closer my wife and I would eat there often. Our cabin was directly on the water and you could hear the waves hitting the shoreline 24 hours a day. They had numerous options for the boys including kayaks and canoes as well as a great beach to swim from. The main building where the restaurant is has large windows looking straight out onto the lake and the views especially at sunset were incredible. The owners were very helpful and friendly. I can't recommend this resort any stronger. My wife and I are already planning to return next year so she can see what I've been raving about.
